Sometimes (like now) mine isn't worth showing either. It's too grown over with vegetation.
You don't have to do anything. They'll molt many times over as they mature so it will be lost along the way.
I think it is incubator specific and whether there is a fan and fan placement.
That's hilarious. Thanks.
Cochin vents should be trimmed so perhaps silkies need it too or perhaps the hens are too big for the vents to mate up.

Stop. I opened an egg at 25 days once with a chick that was about to hatch. I thought I was doing an eggtopsy and obviously the chick died.
If I don't have a reason to do otherwise, I just leave them in the incubator.
Newspaper is too slick for chicks. Put down paper towels instead. Any slick surface can lead to leg injuries.
They could.
Giant shell pasta with shredded chicken and loaded with parmesan, Romano and mozzarella.
It was so good I couldn't stop eating.
Albumen covered chicks can be from low temperature, high humidity, improper turning, extra large eggs or older eggs. Since yours are hatching so late, I'd say your temps were 2-3 degrees low or lower throughout.
Pumpkin pie is my favorite, canned or otherwise.
You don't have to do anything, they'll eventually clean up on their own.
Do you have access to google?
