Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

OK so where are we today?

Did 13 get opened and has a safe hole been made for 14 yet? Or did you decide to open them all, that is 13-15?

Sorry for the delay this morning, ladies. Nothing happy to report.

I opened 13, 14 and 15. I think they were all shrinkwrapped, and obviously, none were pipped. Sigh. **** incubator! I'll post pictures later.

Zippy (Mama duck) is laying daily again. I have no idea if they are fertile or not, but I will start leaving them in her nest and see what happens. Agreed?

Here are a couple pictures. I took several the other day of the ducks' tails, to show you all and ask if you think they are black or chocolate tails, but Mark didn't think they were good photos (he saw just the butts and thought I didn't focus! LOL) so he didn't load them all. Just Tulip.

Here is Tulip (black or chocolate tail?) Please ignore the red dot on her head. I can't tell the three yellow fuzzies apart, so I put a drop of food coloring in different colors on their heads to identify them. Tulip is red!:

That tail definitely looks chocolate to me, but Breeze looks black.

Grrrr that sucks about 13-15 but those babies ARE ADORABLE!!! But where's our special baby Alcatraz ???
