Day 20 I hear peeping in eggs through incubator.

Ok I was supposed to be good till march....... yup not happening. Lol I now plan on setting eggs on the 4th of December for a Christmas hatch! I have been hatching by the moon and was excited to find the days lined up perfectly for a Christmas hatch!! Only down side is I didn't think about rearrangeing my roosters till almost too late..... for my next hatch I should be able to make black sexlink with my rir roo and my cuckoo marans mix hens...... yeah

I just separated my breeds today, so just a couple more weeks til I start setting more

I started collecting eggs to hatch..yesterday ..

This will be it till spring, pure LO in spring, and some LO/leghorn mix, just to get good egg count.

I will be setting every green egg I can find with good shape and size....and some of my dark ones from my marans cross girls and maybe a leghorn or two. I have a guy who wants good layers as started pullets in the spring but only 10 or so

eggs are peeping, and one big pip, it pipped in wrong end, but the shell is flying off well and I think I will let it be, and not help, It doesn't look worry some.
