I need a little advice, my chicks are due to hatch today is day 21, one of them started pipping yesterday but it was on the wrong end, so I decided to help, which I don't like to do, anyhow I put it in an upright position in an egg carton and left it over night. This morning it still hadn't gotten out of the shell so I helped it but peeling off some of shell and membrane well it finally got out but it was still in the fetal position. Usually they are just laying sprawled out on their tummy. I looked it over before I left for work and it's still laying in fetal position. What do you think about that will it straighten out after it's completely dry? There was no blood when it came out and the yolk was absorbed.
