I will sell the black ones. some might be pullets but most would be roos some roos will be split for choc too but no way to know without testing them. I have to keep all the choc pullets to breed back to SLW and THEN keep all the roos since those will be splits and I forgot what I do next......
the split roos with lacing over????? SLW or their mothers?????? ki4got.....I forgot lol
ok the quote was a bit garbled, but hopefully I got this straight. LOL
now are you talking 'dottes or the orps? and for who to breed what, i'd need to know what the sire and mother are for the breed...
my memory isn't so good. k.i.forgot and all that.

Dottes!
I have SLW hens with a Choc Split wyandotte roo. I know I am going to keep ALL the choc pullets. They will then be breed back to SLW roo and I am going to keep the roos from that cross they will ALL be split for choc since it is sex linked and will come from the Choc pullets from the first cross. What do I do with the Choc Split SLW roo? breed them BACK to their dam or back to SLW and keep the Choc Pullets again? Now that it is morning that makes more sense breed the choc split/SLW roo back to SLW pullets and keep the choc laced silver pullets and breed those back to the choc split/SLW roo and keep ALL the choc..... then I really have to work on the lacing.
The orps are just solid color so no issues there. Pattern birds can throw me on what direction to go.
