Indestructible Tapeworms?

:( Been following you guys on the news! Could have been much worse I'm sure, but that's not very comforting I know...:hugslots of love and support coming from VA!

Any flood pics? Or has a thread been started for the flooding?

Hang on to your Valbazen because you'll need it after the rains pass. Your soil will be worm soup. I recommend using it 30 days after your last dosing. Even though it has lost its effectiveness against tapeworms, I assure you that it will kill all types of roundworms that chickens can get. Birds are more susceptible getting roundworms than tapeworms. Also, Valbazen slowly gets rid of roundworms over several days, so there's no worry about toxic dead worm overload in birds. Dose once, then again 10 days later.

Funny thing is, they’ve been laying like champs in this rain. I haven’t gotten more than 1 egg a day in months. If that. The past two days I’ve gotten 3 each day. Imagine that.
Sorry you are dealing with lousy weather on top of everything. That just stinks.

I hope the EquiMax works for you. Most people discard eggs for 14 days after treating with it, just in case your birds start laying in the next few weeks.

Here’s some flood pics.
Those are my very sad, wet bantams. Before I put them in the dry pen. So pitiful.
Then my back yard while it was still going this morning.
Then where the water hits a couple feet outside my coop.

Definitely have worm soup in my coop right now. Perfect way to describe it. I’ll hold onto it for sure. Thank you.

So I was able to release my chickens back into their coop today. Thank God for pine pellets! Best invention EVER! Anyways...the Equimax just arrived and I’m so confused. It’s in a syringe marked with lbs. How do I give them .03 mL? If it’s an obvious answer I’m gonna feel really dumb.
