I am still watching him. I think the same, he is most likely just a black runner that was cross bred with other runners and possibly cayuga or other ducks. The farm where I got the ducks mainy has runners so I guess it's a runner mix. I am now thinking about getting a cayuga, though. They look fabulous and are even a bit larger than Indian Runners!
Days are getting shorter now, but we have a nice and warm weather with temperatures up to 21°C. They are now mating regularly, each duck often several times per day. No eggs though. Those teenagers...
