Indian runner personality

I have two Indian Runners, they are both delightful but in the spring the drake tries to rape my Call Ducks when they come of their nests and he chases mallard ducks around the pond.

But that might be because they are smaller than him!

I want to add a couple more ducks to my flock. I want friendly birds. I know a lot of it has to do with how they are raised. I love the look of Indian runners but read they are skittish. Does anyone's runners eat out of their hand and let them pet them? Are males or females friendlier? If I only got 1 runner and another breed would it be happy? Or is it better to have 2 runners? I currently have pekins and mallards/rouens.

Mine will eat out of your hand jump for peas and corn. They com running as sone as we walk outside to see us. We spend a lot of time with them in the ys rd and hand feed them every day. We have 3ducks and 1drake runner
