Racin- great pictures! You have a beautiful flock! I guess I didn't know you had turkeys, too.

Cute little cows!

Brad- well. Love my LF but Bantys are my favorite!!( not so much the silkies). They are cute and scrappy!! And those that you listed are super cute!! Fortunately I'm not into incubating!! Cause they'd make a nice addition to my group!!;). My DH asked my why I'd gotten so many LF a couple of weeks ago cause he liked the Millies the best!

I guess. Should say I like bantams, they just don't pay for themselves with selling eating eggs like the LF.

I don't do bantam, but wow!  A bit pricy, but wow!

John

I agree. He price is really making me think if its worth it or not. Ill probably just watch it and see what the price is at near the close of auction.

Last set for tonight. My young Cream legbars and their friends.

Gold Laced polish. Rockin the 'fro'

Cream Legbars. Roo is the light one in the middle. Very obvious male/female differences, right from hatching.

Not sure what the one in the center is. She was sold to me as a Legbar chick, but has green legs and a more brown, less barred coloring.

Cream Legbar pullet. Not all are crested, will need to work on that.

This one has a nice crest.

Slightly smaller crest on this one. Their crests are much different than the polish.

This is Merlin. The first chick I ever hatched. He is shaping up nicely. Just starting to crow, although it doesn't really sound like one.....yet.

Another look at my mystery pullet. She's destined for the laying flock. Hope she lays blue eggs!

Another shot of my boy!

Here is my second roo. A bit younger, much smaller, not developing much yet. I have a feeling it is because of the older roos in the group.

Just outside of Elkhart. 20 hens and 5 roosters.
6 Ameracaunas, 4 Black Australorps, 5 RIR, 4 Red Stars or Buff Rocks (not certain yet) 4 Buff Orpingtons 1 Partridge Rock and a Phoenix.

Wow, that sounds like a great flock. I have 20 hens as well. Or at least I do until this weekend when I pick up 9 more. I think I am only keeping 5 and a friends will take the other 4. I thought 25 would be a great number to get us started.

Welcome to the group. There is so much to read and learn here.
