infectious coryza? or MG?

Get the birds tested to rule out something like mycoplasma, 'cause if it's something like mycoplasma you should *not* be selling *any birds or hatching eggs*, period. Just think of the poor person that you just sold/traded ducks to. How fair is that? If it's not mycoplasma, then your vet can recommend the *proper* antibiotic instead of you just going to TSC and trying different ones to see if they work.

not to be rude, but I have mentioned this before. They are MG neg! They have been tested. I would never purpously sell a sick bird to anyone

If its not bacteria, it's probably mold infection and antibiotics won't do anything for it. Once they get it, they can't be cured.

Why do you insist on watching your birds suffer?

first off I don't I am trying to treat my birds for illness there is a huge difference! If anyone has a problem with me medicating my birds to help them then dont post here period!

IMNSHO, until you know *exactly* what your flock has you should not be selling *any* birds, period, which you have done recently, right? Sorry if it seems like I'm picking on you, but really, I'm just trying to share my feelings.

Quote: And the vet should have suggested that you start by looking at swab to check for bacteria. If there is bacteria, it will be one of two types, gram negative or gram positve.... Heck, it might even be both! From there the vet could pick a drug that's likely to work, which probably won't be something from TSC. They will also tell you if yeast is involved, but not sure if it would tell you if it was aspergillosis, both of those would require something like fluconazole.

my vet and I are dealing with things just fine. We are talking weekly and I will do as she says, not what everyone else says here.
