infectious coryza? or MG?

Did you ever figure out what it was?

My flock is seriously infected at the moment. I'm leaning toward coryza. Either way, I'm thinking of just culling all and taking a break from chickens for a year. I've been dealing with a mystery predator and now this. I'll just clean the coop really well reinforce the run (possibly enlarge it) and just not worry about it til next summer.

My question is, if we do cull, is the meat ok to eat?
You should read this thread before you decide to cull:

@TherryChicken , thanks for the kind words. Before I read that thread I just assumed all upper respiratory infections meant mycoplasma or coryza and culling. Before culling I would read that and have a swab and blood tested, it will be money well spent.

Additionally, MG infected embryos normally do not survive.
Does it also affect egg production? This would explain why the feedstore that has 26 sick peafowl has had less than 10 eggs laid and none that have hatched.

Note that these peafowl were sick with the same symptoms several months ago, which is why I suspect MG.

mg no, it doesnt affect production untill symptoms show. Just like uri they will lay less till treated and feeling better. I believe

Ok so my hens are actually sick again. This is going on one month!!! I used all of one meds, it didnt break it. Tried another, made it worse, now on another one. Its like they are immune to all the meds now.

Please don't put out misinformation for others to read. It's best to know the facts first before posting.

I advize you not to come onto me like that before you get into something you wish you hadden't. N fyi did you not read at the end I said I believe??? Fyi that is a HUGE sign of it being a thought. Never did I say for a fact. Read closer or dont post at all.
