Injured chick

One of my 8 week old chicks got out of their pen and managed to get out side with the bigger chicken and they attached her. They pecked her head all the way to her skull. She is alert and eating and drinking. I have cleaned it and put triple antibiotics cream on it. She has some swelling. What else should I be doing for her? Do I need to give her an antibiotic and if so which one.

She'll probably recover. Just keep up the triple antibiotic ointment.

I would refrain from using any other antibiotic unless an infection occurs.
