One of my Orpington chicks must have injured the side of her face, or got pecked. She was fine yesterday and I noticed this this evening. I'm not really sure what happened. The area around her eye is slightly swollen and there was dried blood on the side of her head. We couldn't find any visible injury, but when we examined her there was a tender spot that made her flinch when we touched it. We cleaned her up with a wet warm washcloth which she seemed to enjoy and put some pick-no-more on it. She seems normal otherwise. Any thoughts or suggestions of what else I should be doing or what to watch for? I've attached a picture and one of the other side for comparison.
