Inspiring Story: Teacher, Transplant Recipient, and Chicken Enthusiast

The reporter is planning a Part 2 for the newspaper!!! She will interview me tomorrow. I don't know where this story will go, but if you've been following this thread, then I will surely make it known to you!

Resting is SO HARD. I'm much too used to being active.

The 2nd part interview was done this afternoon and a new story should be published this weekend. Stay tuned folks.

Thanks for sharing your story with us.. I pray that you continue to heal and get well. The world NEEDS good teachers like yourself. Keep fighting the fight.

I had a follow-up appointment today. My liver enzyme and bilirubin numbers were elevated. They've had to schedule an ERCP and another liver biopsy for Monday. I was told to pack a bag for it is likely that I will be readmitted into Chapel Hill.

*deep sighs*

On a brighter note, Frederick Dunn sent me a DVD made up of scenes of chickens from around his farm. The shots are great and the music is so relaxing. I got it in the mail today and can't wait to watch it.

It was a special DVD just for me!

for chicken vids. Guess it isn't so lonely, when you have even pictures of chickens around?
