Yeah it sucks but I still have her sister so I'm hoping to hatch enough blue coppers to continue on with. Sorry I have been MIA. My BSN classes and work, plus home stuff and chickens keep me tapped out. Lol

Well if you were born in France and moved to the US you would still be French, but your American born children definitely would not be French. Lol

I have pulled away a tad from the club stuff. I will remain a member of The Marans Club but I don't post much. Too many negative Nancys for my taste.

See i don't completely agree, you can't change your heritage, french is French, just cause you were born in the states don't stop that french blood from running through thier veins, maybe a American citizen but not American. I just don't get why everyone hates on everyone? Where's the love guys?

I don't have a dog in the fight. All of my birds are American because even though they do have some LP blood in the line they have been mixed with American bred lines. I see what you are saying and you are right. That is why the pure LP line of Brenda Little is still considered pure French because no American blood has been infused.

I have much love and literally do my best to stay out of the fray. Lol
