International Black Copper Marans Thread - Breeding to the SOP

Moved the 4 FBCM's to the farm and into the greenhouse pen until their coop is done. they have access to their run though.

So they are 9 weeks old as of this past Friday.

Roo's next

Number 53 is the largest of all 4 and is just now starting to get color.

And roo 54, he developed color the quickest, but he is narrow

they did some growing ,very nice ,both have a same body type ,but 52 has a better tail @ this stage .

they both look good in the photo .from now on they will change every 4 month .tell they reach 6 or 7 months depend the line they come from .

from this photo ,both pullets have a long back ,great , the one on the right ,has a wider shoulder but open tail . the one on the left has a better tail ,but less impressive @ the shoulder .

I have quite a few people getting in touch with me wanting free chicks. I have way too much into my line to give them away. It was around $250 just for the last two pullets shipped to me. No one on this thread just people I have met. Some I have communicated with over the internet but never met. I think they could just buy birds from the same person I did. I feel bummed. I don't like being put in this spot. Does this make me a bad person? What would you guys do?
