5 months old cockerels sired by BM over Gazelle . fully colored .full body pattern . long wide and Elegant . hard to take a good photos of him always moving ,. love the rich red copper . no parasitic white so far , his comb is weakest point .just too many small points . View attachment 2014459

He is a fantastic bird! Beautiful copper and topline. I need a male like him to fix the poor shoulder color in my line! He is really something.

Here is Blue Bird. She refused to cooperate with photos and stayed in the coop on the roost. Her tail doesn't look terribly high today. The BLC cockerel inherited her comb.

I struggled to get decent photos of the BLC pullets because they are very skittish and shy. There are actually 3. I got photos of the best 2. I wont use the one with chest leakage and brown eyes. I like the second one best but she would't cooperate with photos and ran away. Lol

The cockerels are now in with their females. I decided to move them while I had a free moment today.

Dark Angel is happy to finally have a lady friend all his own. I put him in with Jolie as she is laying currently. Malika is in the 4x4 pen next to them so I can easily move Dark Angel back and forth every few days. His eye color seems to have lightened some.

she is stunning bird .I like every thing about her except her comb . her tail is gorgeous a little higher ,but good shape and length .
she is chunky with a thick head ,
plus she is proven to produce big heavy correct bird when mated to the right rooster .

I keep telling you ,do not dismiss your hens ,they are gorgeous .Duke could not the work by him self .

they both stunning .correct in all the area , love they heavy bony type .solid and chunky .they look like they mama with a better comb and well angled tail .

for me the pair who produced this type of pullets will me mated for life . just to produce more and more of those type pullets and cockerel .
you have stunning pair ,stop looking else where .just breed the pair again and again .

they say if some thing is not broken way try to fix it .

Dark Angel is dark any more ..
love him .he if you work with him well ,he will get you out of all the troubles you are having . he is almost complete .I don t know his mass ? but every thing else is stunning . what a cockerel ,you should be very proud of him . you bred him my friend .BRAVO .you don t need 100 .one correct one will do wonders .if work with properly .

Thank you! I appreciate the positive feedback. Do you think I still need to use Dark Halo? Or should I use Dark Angel only out of the two cockerels? I put Dark Halo in with Queen and Duchess.
