love the BC cockerel in far back ,great body type and stand . he is your new boy ,more photos of him when you have time ,
get him used to you ,pick him up and all sort of stuff ,make him like your pet .so he stay your friend for life .

Both BC cockerels are mossy. I will get pictures today.
 
he look good to me .he is too young .will change 100 time before he get to adult hood .
mossy on BC chicks does mean he has a lot copper . not a bad thing .

He only has a couple spots. The other BC is much worse. Next to last picture you cand kind of see a couple mossy spots. Very last picture is of other very mossy cockerel cull!

I took Ruby and Jade out of Blazes pen. I left Pearl. I added Violet and the two from Jaspers pen. Now wait for clean out and egg size. Blaze is worse this morning after getting new girls. He is in major attack mode! He was attacking through the outside fence and he never did that before. He did attack the fence in the hallway but never the outside pen. The hen turkey went after Blaze big time. My husband was cheering her on. Named her braveheart. Lol

you are worrying too much .the cockerel is fine ,.mossiness on the cockerel is no as bad as on the pullets .the cockerels carries a lot colour pattern in they genes .
if the mossiness is on the lower part of the body { chest ,lower abdomen } than it is a problem .
you cockerel is mossy on the upper part of his body .

hatch few more chicks from him and soup him up .you don t need nasty rooster around you .

look after the young BC cockerel his son ,look good to me .
