So we are now at 7 weeks old. This is line #2. The ones that looked like tall skinny giraffes at a few days old. Their plumping up nicely. I like their leg color and feathering. Nice blue eyes.
There are 9.
2 cockerels and 7 pullets.

These are the two cockerels. One is bold and friendly and the other one stands back and observes.

Very sloooow feathering.

Nice looking cockerels! I like their type, combs, and eyes. Both look like they will have some copper on their breast (no more than about 10% coverage is acceptable per SOP). We’ll be able to tell more as they growout. Some breeders prefer the slower maturing cockerels claiming their color is more proper when fully matured.

Take Care,
Keith

I noticed their chests too. Im hoping a lot of it will molt out.

Way back in this thread ive seen it minimize as the cockerel grew into adulthood.
I have no idea what the parents looked like. Thats the hard part. Thanks for the observations. Much appreciated.

And as for the pullets tail, it goes up and down with alerts but im always watching the darn tails. Line #1 has a few that started out like this and now their staying higher.
