This is my rooster, the 2 hens that I hatched from and the 5 babies. I know he has a part white tail feather but the best rooster I have.

I wish I had 10 but I don't. I need a miracle! Lol
If I could manage a good BC Rooster out of these. I will breed BC x BC next year and try for a backup Rooster or a better one. Praying you get a good rooster out of your 10. I was really questioning the fertility of my rooster. I put 10 eggs under a broody hen. She broke one and 5 hatched. There was one clear but the rest had started forming but died earlier on. I was going to send someone some eggs but with questioning fertility it didn't happen. I moved him about a week ago into the Blcm pen.

This is a great restart.
All you need is a pair to get things going again.

It is so hot! I hope they all make it through this heat. It was 105 today and they are calling for 111 the next 3 days.

O wow. That's awful.
Not that hot here but near 100.

I let mine free range during the day so they can find some cooler shade in the woods. Its risky but they need relief.
Most have stopped laying too.

I hope you get some relief soon...

The one BC chick the hen hatched is a cockerel. So I think I have 2 Blc cockerels and 4 BC cockerels. One Blcm pullet from the second hatch and 3 blcm pullets from the hen. I hope out of the 4 BC cockerels I get a couple good ones.

Bravo my dear friend ,really impressed with a pullet with a blue tag . great type .pure silver and complete hackle marking . lovely seen too on her black feather ,you have done a wonderful job ,you should be very proud of your self .
all you pullet have a complete hackle marking and pure silver ,very hard to do .
