BLC hen with a solid body very deep chest , flat long back and stunning small tail . She lay long tubular eggs not as dark #5 at they best with dots . She has a bent comb.
She is very heavy she will be bred for a table bird. Very heavy line I m trying to develop for butchering . Will be crossed to NN later .( Marneck program)

I like this BLC hen , she is long , heavy with a nice long flat back , gorgeous tail. Free from any fluff , plus she short on her feet . Nice comb . Her eggs are not as dark as I like them #5 with dots well oval shape . I will be breeding from her for sure . Her leg ring number is 135 no name yet .
I have 26 BLC hens . I m selecting my best 5 or 6 to breed correct Marans from them . I have nice BC roosters to pair to them .

I like the style of this BLCM hen comb . Not refine yet but great type , the lobe is well lifted high from the neck plus it is not bent . I will use this hen to breed a correct combs . She is very nice hen too long body type with short legs .

I like this rooster a lot . I think it is a best Marans rooster I have bred . I need to breed a BCM rooster like him . This guy hasn’t t got any fault except the Kobe in his comb is not well define . Very small thing .
If I mate him to the hen I posted before with a stylish comb . I will end up with a faultless combs in they progeny . This hen.

I ll be breeding a lot BCM this time . They are in high demand . People want to pay a good money for a well bred BCM breeding stock .

Solid black hen. This hen has too much loose feathers Fluffy or cushion type around the base of her tail .
Marans feather should be tied , free from any fluff .
