Frosted is very happy rooster moved with a hens tonight. I like him a lot hatched from very dark egg. His sister was on aging very dark egg before she died this year when I was away . I ll be using him a lot when I start breeding . He is 3 years old
He is a blend of the import line x to Fiona’s Marans .

Black copper rooster one year and half. He is SpingBuck older brother . Normally he hold his tail high but today he decided to pose for the camera and show off that he is better than his young brother. He is super gentle . Named him copper Nile .

BKC hen without hackle marking . Very long , chunky and low to the ground body type . She has a green leg band because she lay dark eggs . Haven t named her yet.

My best hen dark blue no any copper on her neck . She is Dark Angel still laying those dark eggs number #6 now with a lot dark dots . She is a perfect Marans hen well balanced .

Love her long flat back and small tail .
I m very late to start breeding my Marans this year. I think I will be ready just before Xmas time .

Blue copper hen with a long legs . She is very tall not correct . Marans should have medium length legs so they body look close to the ground .
This hen is going to a layer pen for sure not a breeder .
