Look at this BCM rooster 20 month old build like a tank but he has a horrible high open tail . He is a true brother to Copper Nile and SpeingBuck. This guy is more of a compact dude. Love his deep chest he is the best on this trait
I have few hens waiting for him when in move up to the new farm .

A same rooster different view . We can see how wide is his body and back . His legs are straight and wide apart . His copper is sublime .. his comb is small too.
I have 4 true brothers . This guy story and wide free from any loose plumage but with a bad tail.
Copper nile is huge with a good head and tail his problem is he is very tall and his legs are not that straight.

SpringBuck has a good head and body plus tail but his chest is not that deep plus he has some fluff around the right.

Fluffy is the worst one has nice head but too much fluff very high tail and parasitic white. He is the only one I n not going to work with. He is a cull

4 brothers . 4 different style . They are all very heavy great mass , complete body pattern and stunning copper.
They mother is Gazelle they sure is ConanThe Barbarian
More we hatch from one pair better chances we have to find a good one

I think LoveSong my BCM hen is in love with Copper Nile , she follow him around every where . Hope I get nice babies from them.

BLCM hen Blossom has a nice comb with too many point . But I still can breed nice balanced comb out of her .

Sorry, These are not Marans but I wanted to share. I got really good deals on these and couldn't pass them up. I have 4 Mandarin ducks, pair of Lady Amherst pheasants, Silver female pheasant, pair of Melanistic mutant pheasants.

I did get a few pictures today. There are 2 Blcm and 4 BC cockerels. I think this is going to be a difficult choice for me. I need Chooksman pro advice.
