Here are a couple more pics I was able to get. Sorry again that they're not great! #1 is our most confident Marans but still hangs behind our Welsummer most of the time. #2 won't stand up straight. He can, but he won't stop bowing every time I look at him, so it's hard for me to get a good idea of his tail/topline. I noticed a bunch of white on #3's tail today, so I think he's out!

Thanks! He's my fave, too. We're debating now whether to hang onto #2 as a spare or hope that one of our littles in the brooder turns out better.

I like your #2 as well. I would keep him till the little ones grow. it is always good to have an extra roo.

I finally sold my house and will move to the country in january!
