I have this. Only used it a couple times.
So far I love it. Temp and humidity were right on. Auto turning is great.

Person I got it from says they used it once and it quit working, why they didn't return it is beyond me. But it's the newest version. NR1? NU1? It's on the instruction sheet.
I seem to think they ( A.) Only needed it for 1 hatch or ( 2.) Didn't reset it after the hatch.
I'm going to get it set up and try to run it thru a test run and go from there. (I haven't yet because I fear I'm gonna wanna.. well, @Tstraub summed it up... )
Added 13 birds this year, with 1 subtraction so far, I see this snowballing.. pun intended.

It's a good chance they did not reset it after hatch. I've seen several posts where people didn't read that in the instructions and thought it was broken.

I think there is a number to call in the instructions for help. Also do a search here for a long thread about this bator.

I feel your struggle. My incubator is home made and has only been threw 2 clutches of eggs. The first time only 1 of 12 hatched. The second run 11 of 24 hatched cleanly with a couple more that quit after piping.

Every time I walk past that incubator I think “I can get a better hatch rate”. My eggs would hatch barn yard mixes right now and I have absolutely no need for mixed chickens. I have more eggs than I can eat now.

I have a source for quail eggs and I have thought real hard about doing a run off quail. They don’t require nearly as much room and could be as sort as an 8 week commitment if I choose to butcher all of them or it could turn into an income if I wanted to keep it going.

I think I have another pullet starting to lay. I have found a huge egg every other day this week.

At first I thought it came from my 5 year old BCM Pudding. She's never laid a huge egg like that before and my other BCMs are molting.
Then I got more.
The carton will not close with these eggs. I sat an apple on top for the pic.

They are really big hens but hard to believe a pullet laid these eggs. I hope she doesn't end up with a problem.

I spent a lot of time in the garden this week. I'm now on the prowl to figure this out.

This girl has done a lot of singing this week. Loud and proud!!!
Calling her Roxanne. She is my #1 suspicion for the huge egg.

Yes, that's a Jumbo egg. Very pretty. Chicken stalking time....

My bator is safely put away out of line of sight.
But my heat plate for chicks is not!
I gotta put that thing away. It keeps catching my eye.
