How is the hatch going?

4 have hatched, 2 more have zipped and 2 others pipped. Dang Marans are feisty coming out. They keep rolling my hatching eggs around, especially those working to get out. Guess they here the peeping inside. Hopefully this doesn’t mess up their success.

2 more out. Still waiting on the ones that are partially zipped. Starting to get concerned. One is still active but not sure of the other. Couple more pipped! Could be a great hatch for shipped eggs and my first hatch in years!

You have to just leave them be. I know it is extremely difficult.

How is your hatch going? Did they make it out? I also have chicks hatching. I only have 9 eggs in the incubator. Two have hatched one more zipped.

He sent me a message and said he had 11 to hatch! That is a great hatch for shipped eggs!

I now have 12. i did an assist on the zipped one and lo and behold he had curled toes and maybe other issues. Wasn't surprised by that tho. Happy with 11 but can't help but to be a little disappointed seeing all the other unhatched eggs, lol. I'll remove all the chicks today and let them sit a couple more days. I have no doubt the packaging and quick delivery, with probably good handling, assisted my good fortune.
