I wonder how close these medications are? Pheasants are tricky. I lost one yesterday. Droopy head.

Oxytetracycline is in the same drug group as tetracycline so they are pretty much the same. They are both broad spectrum antibiotics.

Terramyacin is what I read to give pheasant chicks. When you start to lose them.

Terramycin is a brand name of the generic oxytetracycline. Same thing.

Everyone was on high alert. I am glad it happened, tails were up. I couldn't get good pics, all were agitated with hens, pullets and Antonio. They have a lot of good qualities, I think I may just keep the one on the left in the second picture. Love the very orange eye of the cockerel on the right in the same picture. First picture, his tail is high but he is nice. Last pic another nice cockerel. These are the four.

Those are really nice boys! Good body type with great color and markings. Tails looking better. Beautiful!
