this black pullet/hen has a nice body balance ,strait legs well apart of each other , excellent tail well closed and thin at the top . nice black under fluff ./down .

if I had this 2 I ll start 2 different line from them without adding any thing to them for the rest of life .

this photos i ll call it technical picture ,showing a pair of BCM ,how how the rooster is going to to fix the color and how the hen/pullet is going to fix the tail .

you have so many different combination .plan well .

I like her a lot .she have truck load of good marans quality .

eye colors are from the rooster .not from the hens. don t to worry too much about it .what her eggs like? and what her name ?
I ll name her after my Wheaten hen Nikita . what do you thing or all ready named ?

Now RedBank we seen the combs of Antonio and Claude .some thing you have to consider when penning your breeder . exclude any hen/pullets with a large comb from the breeding .

that only thing you have to tune in your flock .

What is large on a hen? The over melanized hen you like in the pic with Antonio has a flopped over comb.

She will be Nikita. I will put a yellow tag on her. I have several just like her with the dark eyes and the good copper. It may be wrong but it is very striking.

I ll no worry about hens with a Black eyes as much as I don t worry about breeding from a small rooster .

breeding from a small hen even with a nice eyes is not good as much as breeding from a Black eyes rooster even if he is massive ,is wrong practice .

there is low of inheritance ,the thing in nature have code they follow .

here what do you look for your hens .or what come from the hens =
Body type .
Comb type
eggs size .form and shape /color too .
body mass .

here what come from the roosters =
Body color .
eyes colors .
eggs color
Barring gene.
body mass .

flopped over comb from the middle back ward is accepted as long as is strait from the front .

as long as her comb is on the smallest side she will fine .
