International Black Copper Marans Thread - Breeding to the SOP

What's everyone's thoughts on this guy? I'm not a fan of his tail.

@ozmarans I can’t remember if I’ve asked before but I read something once about the blue allele diluting egg colour in marans hens. As in a blue hen will lay lighter eggs than an otherwise genetically identical black.
Is this in anyway true, or is it a misconception from the fact many blue coppers are hatchery quality?
not true at all, plumage genes has nothing to do with egg colour genes not in a same chromozome , not relatted .I have a splash hen DarkFace and Dark Angle ( DArk blue hen ) my best dark eggs layer and they daughters lay dark eggs too ,

what wrong with his tail a litle long but good angle ,not a worst tail out there ,
better photos outside so we can see his true posture ,

Thank you, I thought this would be the case since we are talking about two different pigments in different locations. My blue hens have always been my darkest layers also.
