Have a question about silkies feet...how do you keep them clean when they are walking through poop and it sticks to all its feathers.......i am new to silkies, i have 2 one white and one black...not sure if they are male or female since they were straight runs...they are 3 weeks old now....

Luckily I don't really have a problem with that. No poop in the feet feathers of mine. If they stepped in some poop, mine normally walks it off clean on the grass. I clean their coop once a week and check them everyday to make sure they are clean and healthy.

i took them out of the brooder and put them in a small coop with sand and grass and pine shavings...and i only see clean feet now.....
