Introducing: BackYard Robots - April Fools 2017

Can I alter my chore list after it's been submitted? All this talk of RIFD chips and such gave me such an idea!! Can you see a robot made just for Kendra that she could use to open the doors out there just for her, clear the poop from a ramp for her little wheelchair, and gather the eggs and put them in her basket - with an escort back to the house? Or better yet, carry her out to the coop so she could see the chickens? It kills our backs to do that, but a robot wouldn't have any problem!!

1) about 6 years

2) outdoor cats, goats, dogs

3) cleaning out the chicken coops (four tota), feeding the outside cat, alerting me when the food or water gets low in the chicken pens either by connecting to my phone or whenever I go to see the robot (four separate pens)

1. Less than one year
2. Cat, dog, ducks, cows, goats
3. Filling & cleaning water available to them. Filling feed. Opening to let them out of inclosures & penning them up at night (ability to take a head count as well). Recognize & scare off predators or potential threats such as hawks, stray dogs, raccoons etc. Ability to imitate my voice or specific calls to get their attention or to warn them of danger.
This is so cool!! My son would so be into this tech! He's 17 & is wonderful at computers

  1. The # of years you’ve owned chickens
  2. What other BackYard animals do you own that you’d like help with
  3. Examples of three tasks you’d like your BackYard Robot to take over / do for you

1. About 6 or 7 years.

2. Chickens mainly, but doing general yard work would be very helpful especially dog and cat clean up.

3. I'm actually looking for several inventions...could you finally come up with the food replicator too and the transporter. That would really help my life out.

  1. The # of years you’ve owned chickens: Officially for three years, on and off for about 8.
  2. What other BackYard animals do you own that you’d like help with: Geese, ducks, farm dogs, and emus!
  3. Examples of three tasks you’d like your BackYard Robot to take over / do for you: Changing the coop and nestbox bedding, gathering eggs, deterring small predators.
