Look into the Mama Heating Pad, it’s a lot better than the heat lamp. I’m on my phone and can’t post a link, but @Blooie should be able to help you there. It’s a heating pad that they can go under when they need the warmth. And it sounds like you will have a successful quick integration. Congratulations!

Are the chicks being brooded out in the coop or run? As others pointed out there's many ways to set it up so there's safe areas for the chicks to escape to if needed. This is my setup from earlier this year with some integration notes. I got creative to make chick size gaps into the brooder, and gave them plenty of hiding spots in the run, so they were able to safely mix with the adults from around 3 weeks on.
