Is 80 degrees fahrenheit a good temperature for 3 week old chicks?

By 3 weeks, my chicks are usually off heat completely and outside in 40* weather. Chicks are a lot more hardy than most people would have you think. Keeping them a bit cool is much safer than keeping them too warm. If they get chilled, they can huddle together. If they are kept too warm, without a way to cool off, it can be fatal.
