Is anyone else buying land?

Hahaha nah I don't think so. But.....I don't know how your curiosity isn't eating at you? Do you think he's a recent deceased? Or from earlier times? What does your husband think about another man being in the house?

I don’t even know if any of this is so; I have no real idea why this man is in my house.

The man I saw is about 40 years old and wearing jeans and a white tee shirt with a denim work shirt over the tee shirt and Red Wing type work boots. The denim work shirt is the kind that has the snaps down the front and two snaps on the sleeves. He looks like he just got off work; so I would say that he is recently deceased.

I’m extremely uncomfortable talking about him with anyone but my immediate family because they know that I’m a stable person and I’m not prone to making up wild stories. I can talk to you about it only because you have absolutely no idea who I am.

I would never in a million years tell anyone else face to face that I think there might be a body buried on my property because I’ve seen his ghost.

My husband doesn’t say much about it; we’ve never really sat down and talked about it. I prefer to pretend it’s not there and ignore it. It just helps sometimes to be able to get these things off my chest and tell someone about it who doesn’t know me and can’t look at me with that look that people give you when they think your full of it but they’re too polite to say so.

As for the curiosity part; there are some things in this world that I feel are better just left alone. There is nothing I can do for him…he’s dead. Nobody else can hurt him but they could hurt me or my family if they had any idea that I knew there might be a body there.

Wow!!! Is that Abeline TX? That's where my ole man was born. Cheap Cheap Cheap!

Between Abilene and Anson. There are a couple places listed on our road. They have doublewides on them. I don't recall right off who the realtor is. You could search Abilene realtors. I most of the lots up the road are 3-5 acres. No well water, we are hooked up to city water.

I understand. I would probably feel the same way about discussing it face to face. You know, like you, I wouldn't be troubled by the ghost so much. My curiosity is peaked by thinking he might be a cold case. You know, a for sure unsolved mystery. And thanks for talking at me about it. I'm really into these kinds of things. And do let me know if anything new goes on.

My MIL is in Tuscola. We are gonna pay her a visit in September. Definitely will be looking around. There has to be a reason everything is so cheap there. No work maybe?

My oldest daughter is really into the supernatural and I think it's ok up to a point.

Two years ago I didn't believe there was any such thing as the supernatural, today I understand there are a lot of things about this world and our lives that we don’t understand and messing around in things like that could be very dangerous.

Marie Curie discovered the element radium and had absolutely no idea how dangerous it was. She opened the door to deep changes in the way scientists think about matter and energy; she also paid for it with her life.

I try to discourage my daughter from dabbling in the supernatural; I don’t want to see her get hurt by her curiosity. You should probably try to control your curiosity as well.

I do to a point. I don't dabble in the super natural at all. Seems like everyone has a ghost story EXCEPT for me is all. Even my ole man has some experiences. My MIL attracts ball lightening. My father can't wear any type of watch because they all stop. I just like hearing about the unexplained is all. Anyhoo. Thanks for letting me in on it though.

* Chickfillhay--It's 102.6 miles from Ashland/Boyd Cty. 41101 to Richmond/Madison Cty. 40475. That's all I tried to get and getting that was a pain. Stupid mapping thingys just don't like you if you don't have specific addresses to feed them. So, no idea on direction or prevailing winds, either!!
