I want more land. An acre here goes for about a 1,500 dollers. There is a 40 acre lot I want and it is 140,000.

I am always like

when I see some of the low prices people pay for farms and land. If we wanted 5 acres and a mobile home here in Western Oregon, it would set us back about 300k. Still out of our price range

I was thinking of moving back South in a few years. But right now I am putting more thought into staying North and looking for land in New York, New Hampshire or Rhode Island. Maybe even western MA or buying my sister out when mom passes and staying in MA. My mom has just under 2 acres just south of Boston. Big enough for some chicken, at least two horses and a garden.

We want 100 acres more and up. Just can't find it in the area and really don't want to move out of the area.

we are going to sell are 2 story 4 bedroom with a 1/4 acre in a year or so and get a smaller house with atleast a few acres. I just told him you know if we get more land I will just take it over and get all kinds of things like pigs, goats, more chickens

, he said I know but I like pigs and stuff too. He must be forgetting he will be the one building coops, putting up pens and fences lol.
