Is it a bad sign for an internal layer/ egg yolk peritonitis?

Update 12/14 night-12/15

I give her the propolis and NektonS and probios. I also feed her dried garlic/egg yolk in the morning.(about 1 pinch)
She eats a lot of meal worms and some oats and her regular food and a bit of yogurt.

Deckie's poop came to more solid than watery today.

12/14 8:48pm.. Still watery last night.

12/15 Sorry that is blurry.. 7:00am.

Bath at 8:00am. She was really trying to push out something so, I gave her bath as soon as I saw her doing that.
Usually I can't.. because my kids and husband have to go to school/work during the time.

10 minutes later, she pooped in the tub.

Many of my chickens are molting right now. Maybe she's molting and that is why she is losing feathers? Her poops looks fine. It looks fine most of the time. I have read and seen this entire thread. Wow. You are very dedicated to her. She looks well to me. How old is she? I agree with the others that say she probably doesn't need a bath so often. It will strip her oils from her feathers, too. She needs those. Very interesting thread.

Thank you, viollettt! She will be 3 years old in March. Yeah, she looks very fine now. She can't stay on the top of the crate anymore. she keeps jump off and walk around our house right now.

I agree. She doesn't need a bath anymore. she didn't want today.. So she got of out the tub in 5 minutes...

Thank you for the info about molting. I thought that molting in the Spring.

<Wow. You are very dedicated to her.

Yes, I am. LOL Well, I lost a German Shepherd who was only 4 years old by heart worm when I was a teenager. He was kept outside and not treated well.
I regret that I didn't care. I regret so much what I have done. So that was a good lesson to me. :)

<<Her poops looks fine. It looks fine most of the time.

?? The greenish poops that she used to had too?

Today, I got this! :)
Soft gel is much nicer than the tub tablet.

She got on the chair! Wow, She is getting better!! Horray for today. Although my concern is her abdomen is still squishy and big....

Maybe it was the medicine or something she ate that was green? Or from when she was first sick.

Also chickens slow down with egg laying after they are three years old. I also regret some things I have done or not done with my animals. I know what you mean. We live and learn.

You made me my heart warm. Thanks!

Quote: She acts fine now, but her abdomen is still swollen... When I touch between her legs, it was very watery.

Is that like a chicken who has impacted crop?? If say so, I can feel fine with it because I have the one already and being healthy besides the crop.

I read so many bad things ended up with this symptom, the stuff in her vent will kill her eventually... That is my big concern.

Thank you, enola!
Yeah, Deckie is really doing well now.

more interested in dogs now. :)

After exploring our room, she rested near me.

Interesting what my son was eating. LOL

looks fine.

24days ago...

In the morning, her abdomen is not squishy. Somehow it is smaller now. The color of her vent skin is more like pink than red.
Her feather is back around her vent now. That is a good thing.

I also wish you and your family will have wonderful holidays and a Happy New Year!

I wonder why she had been sick? Do you think that she still has internal layer/ egg yolk peritonitis ?
As Kathy said before, It might be an egg bound if she will be completely recovered, or something else? Not sure...
