Is it fun to be in the snow and ice ?

back in the late 90's we had a huge blizzard, i ended up sleeping in the hanger at work for like 2 days. there was a state of emergency so even if we managed to dig the cars out we would get arrested for being on the road. nothing like sleeping in a cold hanger across three rolling office chairs on a concrete floor

Snow falling is absolutely beautiful. And I like when it first ends. The temp never seems too bitterly cold, and I actually enjoy shoveling the beautiful, clean stuff.

And besides.. it covers all the cr*p in my yard so I don't have to look at it again until spring!

We don't get snow here, we get ice storms. Now that sucks! Ice everywhere, no power, branches falling on houses and you can't even walk outside without falling on your tail.

I don't really like snow either.

I like living with the snow and ice......beats rain and mud anyday.....

Lots of snow and ice where I live.....I slipped in mud to the henhouse the other morning in the pouring down rain and believe me it was not a pretty sight!!....I was covered in mud!!....

Is it fun to be in the ice and snow??????!!!!! I just slipped and fell on the snow and ice going to Freebie's barn! I had to break up the ice dishes, We are getting our first bad snow of the season. I have lived through 2 official blizzards. A blizzard is where the schools shut down and where the sight of the city snowplow guy is heaven sent ha ha. One minute you are cheering the snowplow guy and the next you are cursing him while he fills in your nicely shoveled driveway! Ya got a refrigerated truck I will send all the snow and ice ya want LOL.

I agree that it's nice to look at from the inside of your house...
We have the idiots in their 4x4 SUV's that think they can drive like hell and get anywhere before you...they end up off the road first...
As I go by and give them the salute because they splashed my little front wheel drive car that was going 35 through the snow.

I also agree that in summer there's only so much you can take off. But you can put all sorts of things on in the winter.

My best friend moved to Maryland from Massachusetts and she says that after 3 snowflakes they call off school. Buncha sissies. Up here, we're just gettin started.

DH and I were at the market today and there were old people everywhere with their milk and bread in their carts. oy

Good idea about the freezer bread Laura - I'd hate to have to club an old lady in a fight over the last loaf in the store, haha!! Quadcam, I love the halloween costume over a snowsuit!! Hotwings, you getter get some snow chains for your boots girl!!

I love the cold temps and just hate the hot humid weather. Today was windy and cold, while doing outside chores I feel revivied! In the summer I feel like a sweaty baloon with no air, it kills me. It defineatly is more work in the winter, things freeze up, people drive to fast, more work for snow removal etc. but I love it. Nothing like going out first thing in the morning and getting smacked in the face with cold air, now THAT is a wake up call....lol
