Is it ok to kiss your chickens?

Back when I used to keep parakeets, I was told that you can't kiss them because it could give them liver disease.

I'm not going to give my chickens any diseases by kissing them, am I?

I kiss mine all the time on the head. lol We are all just fine! I don't allow my son who's three to kiss them because I'm worried that someone may have gotten their head pooed on and I know to look for that lol.

Kissing is fine, just dont use tongue.

It will hurt if her beak clamps down.

I work at a petshop and I taught one of the sun conures to give kisses.

i kiss mine. even sometimes on the beak. but i don't use the tongue, marlinchaser.

i give them "hen-pecks."
