Is it ok to let your hens be broody?

I have a hen that went broody about a month ago. I just threw out treats for the other 9 and waited for her to get up then blocked off the nesting box she was laying in. It seemed she was really mad at me but broken of her broodiness after a day or 2, but now a few weeks later shes back at it. Do I need to do anything more or just try the same method again? Worst part is I was hoping one of my hens would go broody, but gave up and raised the chicks myself, now my coop is about maxed out and I have my nicest girl being broody all the time.
