Is it ok to spray BlueKote on skinless wounds?

Mellephone, I've been thinking about Silver Sulfadiazine, which is used on this kind of wound and burns on humans (it's an antibiotic which helps speed healing). I've applied it with a big wooden popsicle stick many-a-time! LOL I did a search here for it and found this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/111548/colloidal-silver-for-chickens There were a couple of people who commented on colloidal silver, but Silver Sulfadiazine isn't the same thing. It's used by vets, too. Would you be interested in calling your vet to see if it's a good idea? I found it here: http://www.mountainside-medical.com/products/Thermazene-Silver-Sulfadiazine-Cream-400-Gram-Jar.html
