We're discussing things now
I am so happy for the two, and glad that you could help @Canadian WindThe two sweethearts are now here. They are younger than I thought, probably hatched early July. No quacking OR rasping yet. I'm thinking the more mallard-looking one may be male as the top of the head is getting darker feathers. It also looks to maybe be a mix with a wild mallard.
The black-bibbed one I'm not sure. Definitely pure Call though, with that small bill and round face.
Thank you @Ducklinghatcher1948281 for driving all the way here with your babies and trusting me with them. I will make sure to send you updates and photos as they grow!

I get really distressed hearing about poor creatures that need new homes that I cannot take in!!!
Just today, I heard that Duck Haven near Miami that takes in Muscovy (it's in a suburban 3x2 backyard) needs help as it is flooding. We are not even experiencing a tropical storm, it's just normal Florida rain and the Duck Haven patio where sick and injured ducks are housed, is under several inches of water. Eunice Sivertsen, the seriously elderly owner of Duck Haven has a contractor to alleviate the situation but needs money to pay him. I'm greatly distressed about this. If anyone is able to help, please Venmo donations to 954-303-1032 or see their website www.duckhaven.net and use the PayPal donate button
You can check on the veracity of this by going to the FB group Duck Haven FL
