is it posible to incubate a chicken egg using body heat?

Don't be disheartened, I think that you could hatch this egg if you tried, maybe keep it warm with your body heat until you can build an incubator. Perhaps show your Mom or Dad this post:

How to make a cheap homemade incubator-
- A styrofoam cooler or container like this:

- A lightbulb 30-40 watts is best for a small cooler
-A thermometer(For telling the temperature of your incubator)
-A hydrometer(For telling the humidity of your incubator)

Optional
-An egg candler(For shining into your egg to see if a chick is growing)

Fix the lightbulb securely to the top of the cooler. for humidity, I'd reccomend misting the egg with water,

Please show this too your Dad, he'll probably be able to help.

I'll tag a couple of peeps who have made 'bators before.

thanks and ill try that and talk to both my parents

Would somebody take Lumpy fishing. Ima’ gonna hold my breath until then.....:caf
If someone took Lumpy fishing, he would need an aquarium when he got home... After all, after he went to buy an egg to make meringue, he needed an incubator... And don't hold your breath, that is always a bad decision, unless you just dived into water... or are exposed to toxic fumes/gases.

Its not a problem if you are an adult. But i think the rules say you cant uner age 18.
No.
You can't make a Buy Sell Trade thread under 18.

I'm 17 and am on here all the time. My age is even on my profile popup.

Read the whole thing. Seriously surprised nobody has thought of this yet.

Use handwarmers.
If you get the ones that last 10 hours you only have to change them out 3x a day and you can do that when you turn the egg. The handwarmers should stay warm enough to incubate.
Spray the egg with water after turning to raise humidity.

Good luck.

Makes sense but then why can we choose to display our age on our Profile?
