My sebright bantam rooster bred the standard EE hens behind my back, and did not know until the chicks were about a month old.

ETA, My standard Barred Rock had bred the White Silkie bantam hens, without me knowing until the chicks hatched.

Laree,

The naked neck turkens you hatched from me are from a standard size Rooster over a Bantam Mille Fleur hen.

He was a pretty good size Rooster too and she was very small. He never hurt her. I think it would be harder for a bantam roo to breed a full size hen.

Yes... and I definitely think it should be bantam rooster to standard hen. My silkie roo has successfully covered a standard EE without any problems and just the thought of my FBCM roo over a bantam hen makes me shudder... he would crush her!

Yeah-- my Patchwork is a standard sized bird, and he regularly breeds the OEGB, sizzles, d'uccles, etc.

The smart hens just leart to squash FLAT, and FAST.

So if i cross a bantam R I R roo with a standard R I R hen what would be the size at adult age?
hernri.
