Ok, here is that picture of her light colored feathers. Is it too early to see the beginnings of where spurs will be? I could be wrong but it looks like little dots on her legs starting where the spurs would be if they were coming. Unless it’s way too early to tell that still and I’m looking to hard. Experts?

Yeah, scratch that. I can see that on all of their legs. Doh! :D

Ok, here are the 8 week old pics of my BJG chick in question.
Thoughts?

Here are a few shots of both BJGs and you can see why I’m questioning..I think.

Looks like a pullet to me, at this point. Keep in mind, the green sheen doesn't mean anything. Any chicken (male or female) with any amount of black on them can and will have sheen on the black. My BJG will sheen purple or green, depending on which direction your looking at her from.

Cool! I will be glad if she is a hen even though I was stating to really love the idea of a BJG roo. The breed is just so awesome to me. That sheen. :love Oh, I can’t wait to see them grow and fill out. It blows my mind a little that they are such an unpopular breed. :idunno

I love my BJG. She's awesome, and awesome to look at, although, mine is a hatchery one, so she's not as big as she probably could be. My dark brahma is a little bigger than she is, or appears to be. Maybe its just her fluffy butt.

I was thinking about Brahmas in the future though I don’t know much about the breed. I really dig big birds! Especially out here in the wilderness. Idk, I just feel they are safer? Probably wishful thinking.

LOL Probably. A fox will still enjoy the meal.
My brahmas are a little more laid back than my BJG, but I think they're about the same.
I know!:hitand we have no shortage of foxes.
More laid back sounds like a win. Our most friendly birds are the ISAs. I wish I could find more with that kind of personality!
