Is my almost hen broody? When will the eggs hatch?

So where will she poop because she really fluffed out and there really isn’t any room.

Hmm, definitely an issue. Maybe let her out, but put the chick(s) out too. Hopefully she will move around and poop, and then be ready to go back in (she will probably sit down on the chicks to keep them warm after a short time-- that would be the time to put her & the chicks back with the eggs.)

That’s really good to know about the dog kennel. I don’t have an incubator.

In that case, it's just a judgement call about when to move them-- moving might cause her to quit sitting on eggs and just focus on chicks, or it might not. Hopefully the rest of the eggs will hatch soon enough that it will not be a big deal.

I let her out this morning but not with her chick because it’s slush outside. She pooped right away then I put her back. It’s amazing it takes me a week to get my chicks to happily step on my hand to come out. Enola was already sitting on my hand and eating some wet chick food out of it and it’s only the day after she hatched! She is really fluffy!
