Is my Buff Orpington a male?

I'm heartbroken if it is... I heard crowing this morning and my girls are 15-16 weeks. I have a mixed flock so I have nothing to compare to. I've raised chickens before and even had a Buff Orpington. I can't tell the difference! This is crazy! We are super attached and if this is a male, he is absolutely the sweetest one in the world. Please help!

Not only is he beautiful, he's a lover! He snuggles my mom under her chin...getting kinda big though to do that...View attachment 1027895

What is wrong with having such a handsome sweet rooster? Haha lucky you! Did it come in a supposedly all female package? That would be crazy, but believable. Yup definitely a boy in my opinion

It would be good to see a side profile of bird- standing naturally, no fence or hands or anything on it. Some BO hens can have good sized comb/wattles. He does look roo-ish but I cannot make out hackle or saddle feathers on him from your photo.
