Gorgeous birds, everyone!!!! Thanks for sharing! It is so interesting seeing all this variety in what is supposed to be a pretty standard bird!
I'm very curious to understand why....does anyone know anything about genetics here? I'm just starting to learn.
I have no doubt in my mind my Vera is a pullet.
She's 10.5 weeks old and she's just the sweetest little girl, always willing to let me cuddle her but with a shy, gentle nature. She is a little chatterbox, like others have said of their pullets, and though she's shy she has a couple of great friends in our large flock - her besties are Mischka the Spangled Russian Orloff who is also a little sweetheart but much more curious, and Gilda the Easter Egger who is a bold and sassy leader. They make for an interesting crew together! I seriously think I might need to rename Mischka as Alice and Gilda as Flo! Haha
Vera, "Flo" and "Alice" hanging out at "Mel's Diner" hehe
