Is she egg bound??? Please help!

I don't usually have much luck with posting here when I have an emergency but I have to at least try this time.

Princess is my 3 year old Easter Egger. Yesterday I went out to the coop to find her waddling like a penguin. I took this as a clear sign of being egg bound. However, after giving her several warm baths, belly massages, an internal exam I'm just not sure.

Symptoms: (which started yesterday 3/21/13)
waddling like a penguin
panting
swollen abdomen (which seems bigger today than yesterday)
siting as if she wants to lay an egg

She's drinking, eating and pooping normal as of today.

I'm very worried for her though. Upon exam, I don't feel an egg-like mass in her abdomen nor do I feel anything when I did an internal exam. Her vent feels and looks completely normal. I just don't know what to do anymore? I have her inside in the warm house in our "hospital".

What does your gut tell you is wrong with her? Is she laying internally? Does she have an infection of some kind?

She sounds a lot more like an internal layer to me. There are a number of threads on here about this condition. Here is one:

Thanks for your reply.... I'm starting to think she's laying internally too. Anything I can do to make her more comfortable?
