My SLW Blossom has been acting strange yesterday and today, she is standing in the same position with her head tucked in and her tail down. Is she eggbound? What can I do?

EDIT:When I put new water out she moved, but she is in the same position, just a different place. Now, as i write this, she is moving

You will need to give her a thorough all over exam. First, feel of her crop to see if it is empty, full, firm, or puffy like a balloon. Feel inside her vent with a finger (use a disposable glove) an inch or two for a stuck egg. Offer her some water with small cup of water (add electrolytes if you have some, or give Poultry NutriDench 2-3 ml daily.) Look her over for mites and lice, especially under her vent and under wings. Feel her breast bone for weight loss, and for fullness in her lower belly under the vent. If her crop feels empty offer her some chopped egg. I would separate her temporarily in a basket or pen with food and water to watch her and notice what her droppings look like.

Oh my goodness, I feel so embarrassed right now but… where/what is her crop? Also I can’t catch her

I really can’t catch her, I’ve tried treats, lures, games, chasing, and she is just to fast and nimble at dodging me and running, it doesn’t help that we have a VERY aggressive hen that attacks and pecks my feet and legs and grabs and slashes with her claws every time I go in.

Time for some chicken soup!
(Push her into the corner, and work your way towards her with your arms real wide. Limit where she can run)
