Is there a way to turn off the stuff on the right hand side?

If you are using AdBlock you have to manually select the right bar buy putting the cursor over the Right Bar then Right click, select AdBlock and follow the instructions.

oh thanks you! I just went to my Chrome options, added the Adblock, and got rid of the BYC ads and Reviews....whew! Thanks so much!

I already had tried that, but I went back to make sure it was still checked. It was. But I owe you a thank you for getting me to go look. Right under is Constrain Forum Width I checked that and it made the the right column run the whole length of the forum. Or more probably the forum narrow. So now the site is set at 200% & I can read it from the neighbor's house.

For all the computer savy people who can figure out how to block every thing I am so happy for you. I am not a platinum member so i guess I am stuck with things I care nothing about seeing.
The Sad news is that the stuff on the side cause the compact page to distort the photos and all the birds are quite compact now and don't give the true look of the bird shown.

Under "preferences" it is either view full width or constrain that will clear that up for you.

The thing I don't like most, is you can't go to a particular post, or I haven't found out how to do it yet.

You can jump to any page in a thread by clicking on the "......" listed at the top of the thread where the pages are listed. ex: "1, 2. 3.........5000". Once you click on the "....." portion, you can move the arrow or type in the page number you want to go to, and viola, you're there!!

No, I don't know how to do everything on here.........just read this someplace else and managed to remember it!!
